What would be a good and fun travel bag to pack for a 12 year old boy?

My son will be traveling (by plane) this summer to visit his father (a 6 hour flight) and I was wondering what would be some fun things I could pack in his carry-on bag that would help him pass the time. Last time he made this trip I packed him a travel pillow and blanket, as well as an activity book and some small crafts he could make. However, he was 6 then and I was also with him. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Travel pillow infomercial?

I saw an infomercial recently for a round travel pillow, which was open in the middle (shaped like a doughnut). It could be twisted into numerous positions. I neglected to write down the website because I thought it would be easy to find on the internet, but I’m not having any luck searching or on YouTube. Can anyone tell the website for this pillow? Thanks!

I wake up with a stiff neck everyday. What is the best pillow/neck support I can buy and from where?

The stiffness continues to my upper back just between the shoulder blades. I use a foam matress and I have tried form pillow, soft, small, medium, large, travel pillow without success. I wake up miserable and now I want to seriously look for a remedy.

An RV Means Flexibility And Comfort

You should always aim to be as comfortable as possible on the road. Traveling after all is stressful enough without facing the prospects of having a rough trip. With this in mind, you should do all you can to stay healthy while traveling. One way to do this is to make certain that you are as comfortable as possible.

Parents with children in ALL DAY preschool or daycare that require a pillow or blanket?

What type of blanket and pillow do you take for your child? We were using the travel pillow and a small blanket from home but because it has to be washed every weekend the zipper on the pillow gave out. I was looking into purchasing a nap mat and wanted to know if anyone had purchased one and what your opinion was. They are terribly expensive and I would like have some input before investing in one.
Okay maybe I need to clarify- he already attends a preschool and takes naps daily. They take naps on cots that are washed down every weekend with a bleach solution. As a parent, we are required to bring a blanket and pillow from home and take these items home every weekend and wash them. The zipper on the pillow he had broke becasue the pillow is washed every weekend and instead of buying another small pillow (or in this case several since it seems like they are going to keep breaking) I thought about buying a nap mat or a bed roll that has a pillow attached to a blanket. I wanted to know if anyone had purchased one and what they thought. It has to be durable and able to be washed at least once a week.

Yes Jho-that is what I am talking about. I do not know anyone that can sew though!

How can I attach my blanket and pillow to my suitcase?

I’m flying to summer camp, and I have a travel pillow and blanket that don’t fit in my bag. Both have carrying handles, but they need to go with my checked suitcase. How can I attach them to the bag?

Where's the best place to buy a decent travel pillow in Manhattan?

I’m going to be going straight into work after an overnight flight from NYC to London, and could really do with a good night’s sleep on the way back… As I’ll be travelling Economy, a good quality travel pillow is a must, and I can’t order one; I’ll have to just get it from a store while I’m there! Can anyone advise me where to go? Thanks! :)
