Memory foam pillows hurt my neck?

Btw im 16 years old and have no back or neck pains i just fancied memory foam just incase someone as young as me shouldent be using it?
I bought a curved memory foam pillow on ebay today for only £10 and i was quite excited about trying it as i have always wondered what they felt like especially after seeing all these ads on tv describing the feeling similar to floating on a cloud. I was surprised to see it is very painful for my neck when you first rest your head on the pillow it feels normal but after a minute my neck really started to ache quite bad (it was just unfortunate that after i bought the pillow i bought a memory foam matress topper to add onto my excisting mattress :S which has not arrived yet. I bought the matress topper because basically i wanted a whole memory foam bed but now im not too sure. Does the pillow hurt your neck too and have you got a matress topper or a matress made of memory foam and if you do whats it like. I heard 25% of people nowadays have memory foam bedding.

What are the bad things about memory foam pillows?

‘Cause there’s always a downside isn’t there? I’m very hard on pillows – tend to fold the corners over and end up with lumps. I’ve been buying cheap and replacing often, but thought perhaps a MF pillow would work better – it would stand up to being scrunched.

But before I shell out the big bucks, I want to know what quirks they have. LIke I’ve heard they retain heat, or if you change position, you have to wait for them to puff up again where you had been laying. Are these things true and what other negatives might there be?

Memory foam????????????????????

I’ve had backahces for a whole school year. Finally we’re getting memory foam for my bed..
i need some recommendations on which brands from walmart.
my parents want something that’s worth the price..but not too pricey

Why do the cheap memory foam beds and pillows have a odor?

I bought both in the past, and had to return them because I couldn’t sleep from the weird smell that came off of them, kinda like a burning plastic or glue smell. My real question I guess is does that smell ever fade away,? because I still really want one.

Anyone have any information or reviews of the world's most perfect pillow?
