Universal Head Rest Pillow
An automotive neck rest pillow is a great universal head rest pillow. These pillows will attach to the head rest of a car, some trains, buses and planes and stay there in position even if you lunge forward. Additionally, you can attach these types of pillows to many high back office chairs and count on them to be in place whenever you return to your desk.
Is there anything more uncomfortable than moving a little forward and having your support pillow fall down behind your back? Without the pillow being attached to the seat, you can be constantly repositioning it which can be become bothersome, time consuming and is awkward to do.
The nicest thing about a universal head rest pillow is that it will stay where you put it the first time you adjust it for your comfort. It won’t slide down on your back or fall to the floor if you forget that it’s there and you stand up.

How do I keep from reinjuring a strained neck while sleeping?
Every once in a while I strain a neck muscle while sleeping. Usually I can heal it in a few days by sleeping on my back, wrapping a towel around it, babying it, etc. This time, however, it seems to keep getting re-strained every night no matter what I do. I’ve tried sleeping on my back, my side, with a pillow, without a pillow, with a neck brace, without a neck brace, and even in a chair sitting upright. It’s been over a week now and every night is the same: wake up with pain in the middle of the night. I’m quite certain it’s a muscle and not spinal or nerve damage. No numbness or shooting pain or anything like that.

does anyone have a pillow recomendation for neck/shoulder pain?
I started having neck pain this last march. the Dr.s believed it was due to muscle spasms pulling on the nerves in my neck. Now the pain seems to have moved down my neck so it radiates into my shoulder and it hurts the worst at night. I can’t help but think that my pillow isn’t giving me enough support. I start out situated correctly with the pillow supporting my neck, but by the next morning it is pushed up against my headboard with the part under my head/neck flattened. I’m looking for advice on what kind of pillow will help or any other sleeping tips for dealing with neck pain.
Oh, and i’m a side sleeper mostly, sometimes on my stomach.
