Can someone help me with these math problems?
426.78 m^2 = cm^2
A square shaped pillow measures 38 centimeters along each side. How much lace is needed to trim all the edges?
How far will a wheel with a radius of 35 inches travel in one turn?
What is the area of a circular mirror with a radius of 16 centimeters?
A circle has a diameter of 20 feet. What is it’s area?
An angel os formed by two ________ with a common endpoint.

Pillow: 38 is the area on each side, a square has four sides, 38×4=152
Wheel: You’re trying to find the circumference(perimeter) and to do that
you need to times the diameter by pi. To find the diameter you
double the radius. 35×2=70. 70xpi(3.14)=219.8 in.
Mirror: To find the area you need to times pi by the radius squared. 16x
16=256. 256xpi(3.14)=803.84cm2
Circle: To find the radius divide the diameter by 2. 20/2=10. Again,
square the radius. 100xpi(3.14)=314ft. 2
Thanks for the brain refresh on math!
Good luck with the other problems.
1. 152in.
2. 70 in.
3. 100.48 cu. cm.
4. Lines.
Im going to assume you’re in the remedial class.
1. 4267800 cm^2
2. 38×4 = 152 cm
3. 2*pi*35 = 219.8 inches
4. pi*16^2 = 803.84 cm^2
5. pi*(20/2)^2 = 314 feet squared
6. lines? segments?
A square shaped pillow measures 38 centimeters along each side. How much lace is needed to trim all the edges?
152centimeters.
How far will a wheel with a radius of 35 inches travel in one turn?
70inches?
What is the area of a circular mirror with a radius of 16 centimeters?
2492?
A circle has a diameter of 20 feet. What is it’s area?
62.4
1)
38 cm X 4 (side) = 152 cm
2)
Radius is half the diameter, 2 X 35 = 70cm
3)
2pir= 2X3.14*16 = 100.48cm2
4)2 Radius = Diameter
2X3.14 X 10= 62.8cm2
5)
180 degrees – Line
426.78 m^2 = 4267800 cm^2
1- if its a square it has equal sides to find how much lace is required arround the edges – 38 x 4 = 152
2-one turn of that wheel is like asking for the circumfrerence of the circle Circumference = 2nr = 219.94 inches
3-Are of a circle = 2nr^2 = 1608.7
4-Area of a circle= 2nr^2 = r= 20/2 = 10 so =628.4
5- An angel is formed by 2 lines connecting so you can get an angle between them
