New Foam Rubber Pillow?
I just bought a Memory Foam Contour Pillow about 2 weeks ago. I cannot return it, the store does not refund on pillows. When I took it out of the plastic bag (2 weeks ago) it has a chemical smell. I aired it "out" outside and even sprayed it with Frebreeze. But it still smells. Is there any other products I can use? I want it to smell like fresh air, no perfume smell. In other words…no smell at all like every other pillow I have. Thank you.

I had this same problem once. Hand wash it. DON’T WASH IT IN A WASHER AND DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER! it will completely ruin it. Hand wash it, and then hang it out on the line to dry. If that doesn’t try it doing it again. It should definitely work the second time. Best of luck!
Two suggestions: try placing the pillow in a new trash bag (as small as possible, not the kind that has its own odour) with a box of baking soda (I suggest the kind made for the refrigerator, since it’s encased in mesh) for a few days. I have just had good luck with placing crumpled newspaper in the fridge for two days to eliminate a pungent scent; you might try the same with the pillow in a trash bag if the baking soda doesn’t work. It is interesting that you have the problem with the smell. i got the nd was blown away by the odor. That was about six weeks ago and the pillow and the mattress no longer has a smell.
