at what age did you first give your child a pillow to sleep with?
im just curious. i know there is a risk of cot death in young infants with pillows. but my son is almost 14 months old and can crawl stand and is well able to move. during the day i put him to sleep in a playpen/travel cot and it has a pillow in it and he sleeps so well. but at the same time i am always there in the same room as him while he is sleeping with the pillow. i want to know how long i have to wait before i can out one in his cot?? thanks in advance:)
i have been giving her a pillow fot the last 2 weeks and she’s 8 months.
before you get your knickers in a knot, she can sit and stand in her cot. i’ve put her v shaped feeding pillow (which she napped on during the day, anyway) in her cot to help allevieate the seperation anxiety she gets at night.
and it bloody works too!!!
My son went into his cot bed at the same age as your son. I bought him new duvet and pillow. I found my Son slept better through the night with a pillow.
I think they advise against a pillow till child is 2 years of age.
I gave my son a pillow around that age. Not a thick one, but a very thin one…. mucho love
