What's the best pillow I can buy to relieve neck pain caused by bulging discs in my neck?
I am a 25 y/o F with 3 bulging discs in my neck. My doctor told me to buy a neck pillow to help relieve the pain, but after researching them online I am more confused now than I was. I am mostly a side sleeper, but I do wake up on my back sometimes. I also move around a lot while I’m asleep (my husband confirmed this.)
There are so many different neck pillows out there that have mixed reviews, I have no idea which one to get.
Thanks for your answers

I don’t think it should matter what pillow you use, at least if you can get your neck taken care of. And I think you can get that taken care of easily. See if this makes sense to you and then you will know if that is a good statement. Take your back/neck apart and what do you get? Bones, muscle, and nerves, right? Your problems are not nerves directly, they would have you in the hospital for them. The bones can’t feel pain or give pain off you feel. That leaves you with muscles. What happens if you get tight muscles? They give off pain. What happens if you have pinched muscles on one side of your body? Besides them hurting themselves, they pull your spine so the other side looks like it is bulging or if it’s about discs that they are going to slip. So what happens when you release those muscles pulling on one side? It should equal the pull on both sides again and things should go back to normal. Once you have your neck back at normal it shouldn’t matter what pillow you use. Here is how to get back to normal:
Back of head:
Place your hands behind your head and put your fingers on the muscles on your neck. Press a moderate pressure onto them and hold it. Now relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After 30 seconds, slowly lower your head until your neck is fully extended. Then release the pressure but hold your head there for one minute longer.
Use that release a few times and if you still need some help try using this one:
For your neck:
place your hand alongside your head and push your thumb in under your ear and place it on the muscle there. Take your fingers and place them on the back of your neck on the muscles there. Press them together and hold a good amount of pressure on them. Then relax, take a deep breath an happening, the muscle going limp under the pressure. Continue to hold until the entire muscle has gone limp. Hope that one of them is more help than a pillow. I know they worked for me.
Go to walmart or anywere for that matter, and get the ones that form to your neck like the beds they have on tv all the time, dont spend a ton off money on it if you dont have to. save some for gas
