what will become of air travel when we run out of fossil fuels?
Hi, (wasn’t sure what category this fell under…)
so airfares are skyrocketing due to fuel prices, they are charging us to bring a second bag, charging us to be fed, we’re lucky to snag a blanket and a pillow on most airlines, etc… sorry, b***h moment, there.
anyway, what will happen when we run out of oil?
nuclear technology?
just wonderin’ what we have in the works

heres a cool article http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn4813-soyapowered-planes-promise-greener-air-travel.html
the faa has approved ethanol for most planes.
the stuff virgin used was 80% regular jet fuel with 20% coconut oil and something wlse and won’t be the product of the future cause theirs not enough coconuts to go around but its a start. he wants to use algae
Biofuel has already been successfully tested by Virgin Atlantic. Who’s "we"?
