What type of pillow do you recommend, for supporting the neck?
I have neck and back problems and I have had no success with finding a comfortable, supportive pillow. I bought one in November and already it is permanently "smooshed" and will not revert back to the supportive structure it was.

The pillow will keep it’s firmness; after about 2 years of using it every night you may need to get another, this is also usually true for any other well made support pillow.

Well there are different level of support in pillows just like bed mattresses& sizes. I like my pillow to keep my neck straight, but not so firm that it slides out of position. I have a king size bed but i use a queen size pillow. You maybe want to buy a higher quality pillow if your old one is not working for you.
