Why is it called "Memory Foam"?
My step mom gave me a memory foam pillow and i have fallen in love! Her name is Maria. All i can think about now is memory foam. This is first time i have really felt it. I LOVE IT! I was wondering what year they invented memory foam? and why is it called "memory foam"?

I don’t understand your attachment to an inanimate object but – its called a memory foam pillow because it will always retain its original shape after you sleep on it.
It was developed in 1966. It is called memory foam because it has a memory of the tension and density of each capsule, so it always re-expands to the same viscosity and density.
