Which gets your vote- TEMPUR-PEDIC [Swedish Mattresses] or Sleep Number?
I am in the Market for a new Matress! I have tried both out an cannot decide! I liked both very much- the Prices are somewhat the same!
I have heard negative Comments about both- that the Tempur makes you irritable and the Sleep Number collects too much sweat..etc.
And really the price does not matter to me right now- I want to sleep healthy and want to be well rested in the Morning! I am particular looking for a better Matress for my ppor back!
Right now we have a 5 year old Pillow Top by Sealy and it is terrible! Sleeping is either with less comfort or Pain in the lower Back area!
I went to both stores and naturally the Sales Agents do not always tell me the whole truth- their Goal is just to make a Sale- questions where not answered to satisfaction!
Which one of these two do you have and what are your comments- sugesstions or Problems?
I personally think that a consumer is often the better Judge than the Sales Agent!
Serious Answers and Experiences only please
Well my question is in General- which one of the both is better or has more votes! I really believe the Consumer is the better Judge!

Personally, I would choose the Tempurpedic, as I have wanted one for quite some time.
I have always believed that matresses should be sold on a 24 hour trial period. There is no way anyone can go into a store, lay on a mattress for a few minutes and decide "That’s what i want to sleep on for the next 5-10 years." Consumers should be able to sleep on the mattress at least one night prior to purchase.
Since, of course, this is not possible, take your time and spend as much time as possible on each mattress in the store. Toss, turn, bounce. Ask the clerk what the return policy is. They may well let you use the mattress on a 24 hour trial basis with a deposit.
If you have back problems, it is extremely important for you to have the mattress that’s right for YOU. What I find luxuriously comfortable, you may well find horrendously uncomfortable.
Since everyone has different body weights, sleeping positions, neck-back-hip issues, and personal comfort preferences, only YOU can determine (through trial and error) which type of mattress configuration is the most comfortable.
Also consider firm talalay latex with a wool fleece pad.

Well I don’t know what the other company can offer to you but if you buy it directly from Tempur-pedic you get 90 In home trial so you can return it if you don’t like it but I think you just will charge for shipping. Check with the other company what options you have.
