What kind of mattress is the best?
Looking to buy a new mattress – what brand would you suggest for people who prefer a firm one (meaning NO pillow top and no cushy marshmallow feeling)!!!
Anyone tried those sleep by number beds or else tempurpedic? If so, what is your opinion on them? Worth the money or waste of money??

I have had the sleep number bed for over 2 years now and it’s just like new. I absolutely love it. If you like a firm mattress this is so easy to adjust to exactly what is comfortable for you. I have never tried the tempurpedic but have heard that they retain the heat and are much more expensive than the sleep number. Good luck and sweet dreams.
I bought a Swedish Foam mattress (made in Virginia, or at least ASSEMBLED) in Virginia) and it’s supposed to be like the Temperpedic and it cost me $1,000 just for the top mattress and it was WELL WORTH the price!!!
I sleep great now!!!!!
The only comment I have that could be a negative for you is if you like to sleep on your stomach, then you might not want to get one if you are a man,(no room for my ‘boys’ to breathe) but if you sleep on your back or side, it’s AWESOME!!!!
I highly recommend a foam mattress. They last longer, and are more comfortable than the inner spring mattresses.
Take care.
Let the internet do the work for you. I would go to consumerreports.org and see what they recommend. After you’ve chosen your favorite model, go to epinions.com and see what users are saying about your choice and then go to froogle.com for the best pricing. If you decide to go used, you can find great stuff on craigslist.org or kijiji.com, both have huge traffic and are great!
