tempurpedic wearing out fast?

I’ve read up on customer reviews about tempurpedic matresses and pillows and the only complaint (but a very significant one) I find is that they wear out too fast (pillows after about a year and matress after about 3)

But it doesn’t make sense to me, because it’s MEMORY foam and especially with the matress: why would they issue a 20-YEAR WARRANTY on something that they know will wear out after only a couple years?

It doesn’t make sense. I’m confused.

Does anybody actually know what they’re talking about regarding thise issue?
