tempur-pedic stiff initially?
I bought a tempur-pedic pillow and it’s rock-solid. I heard they are like that in the beginning and soften up over time.
But how long is it gonna take? Is there a way I can speed up the process?

ours was real stiff… it seems like it was a good week or so until is felt right. the place we bought it from told us it takes a whole month (ie.. don’t bring it back it’ll get better:)
nowadays, with our bed, we notice that we can’t switch sides ever b/c our backs hurt in the morning
Ty sitting on it while watching TV or on the computer – this should help speed up the process. I had my husband sleep on my side of our Tempur-pedic mattress at first to soften it up.

We bought a tempur pedic mattress and two pillows. They told us to actually get up and dance on the mattress to soften it up. Everything has softened up some over the past year, but it’s still too stiff for my wife to sleep well and she hates the pillows. I sort of like to use one of the pillows if I can get it arranged under my neck to give support there. Once the mattress has softened up some, it’s also hard to get out of the bed, you sink in enough that you have to work at getting out of it. For the most part, we are wishing we would have gotten a high-end regular mattress rather than the tempur pedic.
