I'm having trouble breaking in my tempurpedic pillow and mattress?
I got a tempurpedic mattress and it still feels like a rock. Also the tempurpedic pillow I have is still a rock and I’ve had them both for like four months. Anyone have any solution to persay "break them in"?

That’s the problem with Internet. People read that these things soften up or they’re hot and for some people that may be true. If this was happening to everyone Consumer Report would have never reported in Oct O9 that Tempur Pedic had the highest results for people who said they would definitely buy it again. People that have good luck with products very rarely go to the Net & speak about it. On the other hand problems are viral.
Mattresses don’t break in they break down. http://www.stlbeds.com/articles/2010/02/19/does-new-mattress-break-in/ Is a great blog on this topic.
Tempurpedic mattresses and pillows can’t be broken in. They just don’t, they are the most uncomfortable things ever. Sorry to burst your bubble, you can’t break it in!
They don’t "break in". That’s why I hate beds/pillows made out of it. Its very uncomfortable in my opinion.
I also have a tempurpedic mattress and two pillows. For your pillow it may just be hard…mine is really fluffy but my boyfriends is very hard. For the mattress I didn’t have a problem but I was advised to jump around on it or sleep in different spots. And if that doesn’t work, take it back! You spent a lot of money on that thing. Good luck!
I agree to Me they aren’t designed to break in. It is all done by your body heat. If your bedroom is on the cool side then you might have to warm it up. Try adding an electric blanket and see if heating up the bed will help.
It will not "break in". Thats what the salesman will tell you. You have to go get an old-school used 2 sided "flippable" mattress at a tag sale if u want some sleep. All of todays one sided spring and memory foam mattresses are GARBAGE and are too firm, even if they come with labels of "plush" and pillowtop". They dont make mattresses correctly anymore and people are suffering. Its the truth. And don’t bother buying a mattress "topper" either, that won’t do anything, except maybe make you hot and give you restless leg.
