Anyone have a tempurpedic bed?
I am wanting to get a new mattress…i’ve slept on a tempurpedic bed before and its sooo comfortable! I heard that they are not comfortable beds to have sex on because motion doesn’t get transferred. Anyone have problems with that on their tempurpedic? I just might end up getting a pillow top spring mattress instead

I have four kids. Two were conceived on a spring mattress and two on our mattress that is an off brand tempurpedic. The sex was just as good on the foam mattress as it was on the spring mattress for us.
There are plenty of places people have sex that doesn’t transfer motion – car, table, washing machine, poolside, etc.
I love my mattress, by the way, and it was a lot more comfortable to sleep on while pregnant than our old spring mattress, too. It’s also more comfortable if you have an injury that is pressure sensitive or get arthritis. I have arthritis in my hip and I can’t sleep on a spring mattress anymore (even if I wanted to, which I don’t, so it’s all good).
Edit: I wanted to add that some of the off brands have a higher pressure rating and inner supports that the Tempurpedic doesn’t have. The higher pressure rating reduces sink and increases the time it takes for the memory foam to recover while still relieving direct pressure to the body. Shop around instead of simply buying the Tempurpedic brand. Despite their claims, the Tempurpedic company is not the only one selling these types of mattresses.
My wife and I have a Tempurpedic mattress and we hate it. For all that money, it is one of the worst mattresses we have owned. We would get rid of it in a heartbeat if we could afford to.
Stick with a pillow top. They are less expensive by far and usually more comfortable.
I have one and sex is terrible on my bed. Also it is terrible for a pregnant woman. It got to be hilarious because the purpose of the foam mattress is that you sorta sink down into it. Well when you are in your 8th and 9th month you can’t roll over or get out of the thing. Also in the hot summer months the foam mattress takes on the consistency of a warm marshmallow.
